Who are we

David Anderson

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

David has worked with multiple blue-chip companies within the construction and civil engineering industries. From his vast experience David has gained a great understanding of how to operate, manage and plan corporate projects in a safe and cost effective manner.

While  working on the railways he gained an awareness of the importance of health and safety after witnessing several failings resulting in dire concequences. David took it upon himself to enrol on relevant health and safety courses which in turn inspired him to create a safe working environment for all, regardless of the job.

Through education and first-hand experience within multiple fields, David can confidently risk assess, consult, manage, support, review, audit, plan and monitor all matters within health and safety.

Stephen Bailey

Stephen has many years of experience working with local authorities, major UK construction companies and International civil engineering companies. His knowledge of workplace health and safety is second to none. Ensuring programs are kept to both budget and contracted timescales are what make Stephen a foundation of SSC.

Accredited with CITB, Stephen is A1 Assessing Qualified. Assessing candidates working to A1 standards enabling each candidate to achieve N.V.Q Level 2,3 and 4 in various sectors of the construction, civil’s and highways industries assessing candidates in their own working environments i.e. construction sites, civil’s, rail and quarries. Stephen can also help training candidates acheive level 4 and 5 NVQ lifiting operations as well as develop and review lift plans.

Stephen can deliver various training courses on site, which included fire prevention, working at height, manual handling, site transport safety and noise and vibration. Developing individual assessment plans with candidates ensuring they fully understand the assessment process and their individual responsibilities.

Brian Gregory

Brian has a 6 year old son who due to a rare gene condition was born blind. It was these unfortunate circumstance which lead Brian to pursue a career in Health and Safety.

Since completing his NEBOSH General Certificate in early 2018 Brian has been the Health and Safety Manager for a leading construction company. managing multiple sites worth between 2-6million pounds. The projects consist of houses, apartments and commercial premises. As well as managing the Health and Safety for the business, Brian also site managed, managed and dealt with services and providers such as Cadent, United Utilities and Scottish Power.

At previous roles Brian managed multimillion pound business's in the Health and Fitness industry, delivering and exceeding on targets for every business in which he has worked. He also managed teams of sales staff, risk assessing their work because they where lone working 100% of the time, ensuring each individual member of his team was safe while doing their jobs.

Francis Kennedy

Francis has many years of business experience. Successfully creating multiple business startups which earned him the title Liverpool Echo Young Business Man of The Year. A family man and proud father of seven children and seven grandchildren, Francis has always maintained a healthy balance between work and family life.

In 2012 Francis became an RTITB instructor for Kirklan Enterprises. Responsible for training over 300 candidates in counterbalance, reach, side loader and pedestrian operated truck.


Francis then became a registered RTITB instructor. Successfully training multiple candidates. In order to instruct and train others, Francis then took it upon himself to train himself on many construction machines. JCB 360 over ten tones, telehandler, ride roller and forward tipping dumper.
While aquireing his many accreditations Francis took a keen intrest in all aspects of Health and Safety in the workplace. His wealth of knowledge plays a key part in the day to day running of Safety Support Consultants.
